We would like to send a special thank you to the Area 24 Special Olympics for volunteering their time at the Lynchburg Wine & Music Festival. As always, we give back to the community through every event we do and were thrilled to donate to their program.

Forest Youth Lacrosse
We were thrilled to have the Forest Youth Athletic Association Lacrosse parents volunteer on the beer truck this past weekend at the Lynchburg Beer, Wine & Cider Festival. Their goal is to raise funds for uniforms and equipment for the kids and we were happy to make a donation to their organization.

2022 Donations
The Payne Family
As many of you know, we partnered with Browns Heating Air & Plumbing earlier this year as a sponsor for their Brown’s Giveaway which took place last month. We were so excited as The Winfield Family won and received a new heating and air system for their home.
During the giveaway we had the opportunity to meet with the families who were the finalists and have dinner sponsored by Chic-Fil-A. After leaving that night The Payne Family weighed heavy on our hearts. We knew at that moment we wanted to give back some more.
OMINE Productions partnered with Brown’s Heating, Air & Plumbing to gift The Payne’s a new heating and air system for their home. We had a wonderful afternoon at their home talking, having lunch from Chick-fil-A Wards Road & River Ridge and getting to know everyone while watching the install take place.

Lynchburg City Schools
With the school year beginning in a week, OMINE Productions wanted to give back to local educators. We made our way around to five elementary schools to deliver classroom supplies. We hope all of the educators and students have a wonderful year!

Isaiah 117 House
We met up with Isaiah 117 House Lynchburg VA to present them with a donation from the Lynchburg Wine & Music Festival again this year. We love their mission and how they are bettering the lives of children in this area.
When children are removed from their homes out of the concern for their welfare, they are usually brought to the Department of Social Services Offices to await placement with a foster family. This wait can be several hours to nearly a full day. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, and often in dirty clothing. Isaiah 117 wants to provide a comforting home where these children instead can be brought to wait; a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers to provide them with clean clothes, smiles, toys and snuggly blankets. This space will allow children to receive the comfort and care they need while DSS staff are able to do the necessary paperwork and identify a good foster placement.

The mission of the LHS is to help pets in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter and community outreach.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors - Amherst County
NHN was established in the fall of 2015 and began serving meals in May 2016. In addition to serving meals, NHN also offers:
- Mobile Food Kitchen to reach the rural areas of the county.
- Selective Food Warehouse, providing their “guests” the opportunity to shop for their groceries.
- Resource Information Hub to connect those in need to other support organizations.
NHN has already partnered with several businesses, churches, and organizations to make the realty of a food kitchen in Amherst County come true. NHN is expecting to receive over 90% of its funding from the community and will only exist based on concern each individual has for his or her neighbor. NHN’s existence will truly come from Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
